Our History

Smithville United Church has its roots grounded in Christian Ministry since 1791. Rev. Darius Dunham, of the Methodist Episcopal Church, began the "class" that has become the Smithville United Church Family today. Our Methodist history carries a strong emphasis on the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
